The Tourmalet domain is the widest in the French Pyrenees, especially with the link to Bareges.
It's a convivial station (Bareges especially which is an authentic mountain village) but quite expensive, with heaps of accommodation and a lot of freeride opportunities. Pleasant after skiing nights are to be considered, especially with a dinner at the "Cimes" (La Mongie), before finishing at "Brumel" for instance.
