Treble Cone is the favorite resort for a lot of foreign skiers and snowboarders. It offers good off track opportunities, a snowpark with a lot of modules, and some natural halfpipes.
The longest run is 4.3km (Tims Table to Base lodge).

Travel Information "Treble Cone"

By car: From Wanaka: This 35 minute drive, 26kms west of Wanaka is a must do if you do nothing else. Make your way along the pristine shores of Lake Wanaka along the 19km paved highway through the majestic Matukituki Valley. Follow the 7km unsealed alpine road to our base area, this road is graded and gritted regularly throughout the season. The road is suitable for all cars, coaches and motor homes. All vehicles should carry chains. These can be hired from Good Sports and Hirequip in Wanaka. There is no toll to use the road and car parking in the base area is free of charge. From Queenstown: The 1.5 hour drive to Treble Cone is nothing but spectacular. Starting with the climb up the Crown Terrace to one of New Zealand’s highest alpine roads, through the Cardrona Valley, before reaching the shores of Lake Wanaka. From Dunedin: 3.5 hour scenic drive through Central Otago. From Christchurch: 5 hour drive or one hour flight to Wanaka airport. Ski shuttle: Round Trip shuttles to Treble Cone from Wanaka are operated by Edgewater Adventures and Snow Shuttle.
